Before joining the firm, Leila studied and worked in Ireland, England, Australia, and New Zealand. She received her PhD in English Literature in 2018 from the University of Otago in New Zealand, where her dissertation explored Seamus Heaney’s poetry and the environment. She holds an MPhil from Cambridge University and a BA with Honors from Williams College. She has worked in museums and hospitality, and was also a high-school baseball stringer at her home in northwestern Massachusetts.
