Jay Torio

Jay Torio has served as a consultant in leadership search across healthcare and the health science sectors for more than 15 years. Throughout his career, he has partnered with prestigious institutions to identify transformative leaders who align with both their current and future organizational needs. He takes pride in understanding the unique needs of every client organization and adopts a thoughtful approach to ensure each engagement delivers successful, timely results.

Before joining IM, Jay dedicated 12 years to one of the largest healthcare executive search firms in the United States. As a founding member of the Department of Academic Medicine and Regional Vice President overseeing the Academic Leadership Search Practice, he played a pivotal role in shaping the firm's success. Jay was an active member on leadership committees, while serving as an Ethics Champion, and the search-craft training coordinator. His commitment to excellence was recognized when he received the peer-nominated Core Values VIP Award for TRUST, an honor selected by past awardees.

Jay holds a BA in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and an MBA in International Business from Northeastern University. Jay currently serves as the Executive Sponsor of Isaacson, Miller’s IM First – an employee resource group dedicated to the firm’s first-generation professionals.
