At IM, Janette has worked with many education-focused organizations, including national nonprofits and foundations, and with various institutions of higher education. Prior to joining the firm, Janette worked at Excelencia in Education, a nonprofit focused on accelerating Latinx student success in higher education. In her role as a Senior Policy Analyst, she focused on research, policy, and advocacy and worked with policymakers, Capitol Hill staff, and practitioners at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). Previously, she was a Policy Analyst at Education Reform Now, where she focused on K-12 and higher education policy.
