Elizabeth Dorr Weithman

Elizabeth Weithman

Elizabeth's primary focus is academic leadership searches in our education practice. Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2016, she has worked on searches for a number of influential and diverse institutions, spanning liberal arts colleges, large research universities, technological institutions, community colleges, and independent schools. Elizabeth has worked on and led successful searches for presidents, provosts, academic deans, and institute leaders for a range of clients including Dartmouth College, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, Oberlin College, St. Lawrence University, and the University of Michigan, among many others.

Elizabeth brings prior professional experience across higher education, PreK-12 education, and the nonprofit sector. Most recently, she worked at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) admissions office, supporting international recruitment and managing student and alumni admissions ambassador volunteers. Prior to graduate study, Elizabeth served as a senior admissions counselor and educator at Sea Education Association, an experiential study abroad program for students aboard traditional sailing ships. Beyond her passion for international and experiential education, she brings experience working for various environmental organizations.

Elizabeth volunteers through the alumni networks at both of her alma maters. At Williams, she has served as a class fundraising agent and reunion chair, while at HGSE she has been an alumni admissions ambassador and a mentor to a new graduate student each year.
