Benjamin Tobin

Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2011, Benjamin (Ben) Tobin has worked on searches across multiple sectors, including higher education institutions, foundations, and arts and culture organizations. He co-leads the firm’s arts and culture practice, recruiting leaders in the arts, architecture, design and the performing arts. Ben has placed presidents, provosts, deans, and other academic and administrative leaders at institutions around the country. He has partnered with numerous notable institutions, including the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, Lincoln Center Theater, McCarter Theatre, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pratt Institute, and Rhode Island School of Design.

Ben previously served as associate vice president and lead consultant at Brill Neumann Associates, an executive search consulting firm focused on recruiting leaders in higher education, academic medical centers, and research institutes. Prior to joining Brill Neumann Associates, Ben spent four years as an advisor and administrator for Boston College’s study abroad programs.
