Anita Tien

Anita Tien conducts searches for leadership at colleges and universities, arts and cultural organizations, and libraries. Since joining IM in 2014, she has partnered with clients on president, chief executive officer, and executive director searches; searches for provosts and deans of a wide range of colleges and schools; and searches for library and information sciences leadership. She began her career as a faculty member at Wellesley College before moving into development and administration at Harvard University and Boston College.

Anita was an IM placement earlier in her career, and she was also an IM client. Those experiences have given her firsthand knowledge of what clients and candidates look for when they work with a search consultant, and she applies those insights to every search she leads.
