Associate Vice President for Medical School Development and Alumni Affairs Yale University School of Medicine | New Haven, Connecticut Meghan Fay, MBA, has been named associate vice president for medical school development and alumni affairs at Yale School of Medicine, effective Oct. 1, 2024. As the school’s chief fundraising officer, she will report jointly to Dean Nancy J. Brown, MD, and Joan O’Neill, vice president for alumni affairs & development.Fay currently serves as inaugural associate dean for advancement at the Columbia Climate School, the first new school to be established at Columbia University in more than 25 years. She brings to Yale extensive development experience at academic institutions and medical centers, as well as exceptional leadership and fundraising skills.Fay has been at Columbia since 2009 and has served as senior director of development at the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, and director of development at the Mind Brain Behavior Initiative.Prior to Columbia, Fay served as a senior leadership gifts officer at Boston University and development and alumni officer in their College of General Studies. She also has worked as a major gifts officer at Lahey Clinic Medical Center.Fay earned a bachelor of science in print journalism with a minor in political science from Boston University and an MBA from Northeastern University.Jack Gorman led this search with Grace Zakim, Maureen Perry, and Lisa Clayton.
