Tonantzin Oseguera is a highly accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in higher education administration. Born and raised in Mexico City, she brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to student-centered leadership. Her professional journey reflects a passion for fostering equity, access, and success for diverse student populations.

Most recently, as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment at California State University, Fullerton, Oseguera has made a transformative impact on the institution. She has skillfully navigated unprecedented enrollment growth, ensuring that student services, programs, and resources scaled effectively to meet the needs of a dynamic campus community. Under her leadership, the Division of Student Affairs has expanded its efforts in enhancing student engagement, retention, and graduation rates.

Oseguera has also overseen the university's NCAA Division I athletics program, championing academic excellence and holistic development for Titan student-athletes. Her innovative initiatives have strengthened partnerships between athletics and broader student success efforts, fostering a culture of achievement on and off the field.

With a reputation as a collaborative and visionary leader, Tonantzin Oseguera continues to advocate for transformative student experiences, always prioritizing the voices and needs of students. Her work reflects her unwavering belief in the power of education to change lives and uplift communities.

Oseguera earned a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from USC; a Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont; and a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Gerontology and Women’s Studies.
