Assistant Vice President for Collections and Digital Strategies Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey | New Brunswick, New Jersey Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey has selected Paige Morgan as their Assistant Vice President for Collections and Digital Strategies. She will assume her role in June 2025.In the past ten years, Dr. Morgan has been a researcher, instructor, data wrangler, and community/curriculum builder in the field of digital scholarship and publishing. Dr. Morgan will join Rutgers from the University of Delaware Library, where she is currently Head of Digital Initiatives & Preservation and Digital Publishing & Copyright Librarian. At Delaware, she has led a significant upgrading of the institutional repository and developed a model for training and supporting external depositors, developed assessment practices for digital collections usage that resulted in increased storage space, and analyzed departmental workflows for digitization that resulted in increasing productivity.Prior to joining the University of Delaware, Dr. Morgan was the Digital Scholarship Librarian & Scholarly Publishing Officer at the University of Miami Libraries, and a postdoctoral fellow at McMaster University. Dr. Morgan's PhD, in English and Textual Studies, is from the University of Washington. She holds an MA in English, also from the University of Washington, and a BA in Classics, English, and theatre from Seattle Pacific University.
