Vice President for Advancement Princeton Theological Seminary | Princeton, New Jersey Princeton Theological Seminary is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Sloan as Vice President of Advancement, to begin in early October, 2023. Sloan will join the presidential cabinet and assume leadership responsibilities for the institution's fundraising and development initiatives.Sloan brings a wealth of experience in higher education fundraising to Princeton Seminary. Most recently, he served as Vice President for Development and Alumni Affairs at Quinnipiac University since 2019. During his tenure at Quinnipiac, Sloan worked effectively to deepen alumni relations and steward philanthropic gifts for various institutional priorities.Before his role at Quinnipiac, Sloan was Assistant Vice President for Development at American University. In this capacity, he worked closely with executive leadership to leverage philanthropic momentum and attract new funding streams. He also served in various executive-level development positions at The Pennsylvania State University, including as Executive Director of Fundraising across multiple colleges, where he played a crucial role in securing significant gifts, including the $30 million Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. Sloan began his career in senior fundraising roles at Le Moyne College and Keystone College.
