Director of Parent & Family Giving Pomona College | Claremont, California Brady Rennell of the University of Texas (UT) at Austin has been named Director of Parent and Family Giving at Pomona College, effective January 2025. Brady joins Pomona following a successful tenure as Director of Development for Principal Gifts for UT’s College of Natural Science, and nearly a decade of prior experience in externally facing roles at Google.Recognized by colleagues as a relationship-driven professional and a deeply analytical thinker, Brady was drawn to advancement work at an early age. While pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, he served as a training manager for the student calling program. Upon graduation, Brady joined Google and built his experience in sales, client management, alumni (former employee) engagement, and recruiting over eight years. At UT, Brady broadened his skills to include six- and seven-figure frontline fundraising in support of both the College of Natural Science and university-wide interdisciplinary STEM initiatives.Brady joins Pomona as the college prepares for the most aspirational fundraising campaign in its history. In his new role, he will provide vision and leadership for a comprehensive and well-integrated parent and family fundraising program that will drive significant major gift support and raise sustainable levels of parent and family giving through the campaign and well beyond.Brady graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s of arts in psychology and a minor in moral and political philosophy.
