Network Manager The Miami Foundation | Miami, Florida We are pleased to announce that Melissa Milios Davis and Caroline Merenda will be joining the Press Forward Team based at The Miami Foundation. Melissa will serve as the Network Manager effective September 3, 2024, and Caroline will serve as the Program and Operations Manager effective August 12, 2024.As a former journalist and nonprofit leader, Melissa most recently worked as a Vice President at the Gates Family Foundation in Colorado and as the director of the Colorado Media Project, which has been recognized nationally for its work providing place-based solutions to the local news crisis. Melissa will support communications and manage Press Forward’s Aligned Grantmakers, mapping their funding and surfacing trends and predictive insights to support more coordinated and strategic grantmaking. Caroline is a veteran in community leadership and grantmaking. She comes to Press Forward from CFLeads, the country’s national network of community foundations, where she served as chief of staff. Caroline has helped create and manage multiple funder education cohorts and collaboratives. She will work with Associate Director Christina Shih on Press Forward’s local chapters, support donor education, and enhance the organization’s operations.Karen Avery led this search with Alexis Ditaway, supported by Caroline Corry.
