Director of the Upper School Flint Hill School | Oakton, Virginia We are pleased to announce that Chris Tennyson has been selected as the next Director of the Upper School effective July 1, 2025. Chris has spent the last 25 years at Lake Forest Academy – a premier boarding and day high school just outside of Chicago. During that span, he served as a math teacher, department chair, Dean of Students, Assistant Head of School, and most recently, as Head of School. Throughout his tenure, he cultivated community, academic excellence, and a sense of belonging. Chris is a graduate of the Peddie School, holds a B.A. from Holy Cross, and a Master’s from the University of Scranton.
