Chief Executive Officer Columbus House, Inc. | New Haven, Connecticut Following a rigorous, comprehensive, and national search, Louis Gill, has been selected as the Chief Executive Officer of Columbus House, a New Haven based nonprofit that leverages a housing first, person-centered approach to providing innovative solutions for people experiencing homelessness. Gill will be leading the homelessness services nonprofit as chief executive officer, effective May 1.Most recently, Gill served as chief program officer at Community Action Partnership of Kern, which serves more than 100,000 people annually. Gill has decades of experience in homelessness services, notably as CEO of Bethany Services, Inc., where he was tasked with expanding their job development, emergency shelter, and rapid rehousing programs. During his tenure, Bethany Services helped secure permanent housing and employment opportunities for over a thousand people annually.Gill holds a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Art in Spanish from San Francisco State University. He began his career in San Francisco, Calif., and has spent time in Mexico City, developing a deep appreciation for Mexican language, culture, and food.
