Senior Philanthropic Advisor Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center | Cincinnati, Ohio Following a competitive national search, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center has appointed Morgan Shea as the new senior philanthropic advisor, effective October 28, 2024. As senior philanthropic advisor, Morgan will partner closely with hospital leadership to expand the national pipeline of principal and transformational gifts and enhance the visibility of Cincinnati Children’s national reputation in clinical care and research. Morgan brings more than two decades of fundraising experience in academic medical settings. In her current role, Morgan serves as the assistant vice president of health science development at the University of Iowa. Morgan develops and oversees the fundraising strategy for the departments of Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, and Otolaryngology, partnering closely with academic and advancement leadership and leading a team to secure significant gifts. Prior to her tenure at the University of Iowa, Morgan held several roles of increasing responsibility at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she developed fundraising strategies for the hospital's largest corporate partners during their Heroes for Life campaign.
