Vice President and Chief Development Officer Care Dimensions | Danvers, Massachusetts Care Dimensions, the largest hospice and palliative care provider in Massachusetts, is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Johnston as vice president and chief development officer, effective August 12, 2024. Reporting to the president and chief executive officer, Dr. Stephanie Patel, and serving as a member of the executive leadership team, Johnston will devise strategies to elevate and enhance the fundraising capabilities of the organization to achieve new levels of philanthropic success in support of Care Dimensions’ mission. A seasoned development professional, Johnston joins Care Dimensions from the Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Foundation where she most recently served as director of development. Her prior leadership experience includes serving as director of charitable giving at Essex County Habitat for Humanity and, notably, as the inaugural director of development and external affairs for a decade at Beverly Bootstraps. Johnston’s tenure at Beverly Bootstraps had a significant impact on the organization’s philanthropic performance, including strategic oversight for a multi-million-dollar capital campaign. Prior to Beverly Bootstraps, Johnston served as director of annual giving and special events at Anna Jaques Community Health Foundation.
