President Bristol Community College | Fall River, Massachusetts Bristol Community College has named Sedgwick Harris as its next President, effective March 2025. Dr. Harris is an accomplished academic leader, with more than 25 years of experience in community college administration. Dr. Harris comes to Bristol Community College from Northampton Community College (NCC) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he is Vice President of Administrative Affairs and previously served as Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment. Prior to NCC, Dr. Harris held several leadership positions at Kishwaukee College and Kaskaskia College in Illinois and at Kellogg Community College in Michigan. Dr. Harris is an adjunct faculty member at NCC and Delaware Valley University and is a 2024-2025 Aspen Rising Presidents Fellow. Dr. Harris earned an Associate of Arts from Southwestern Michigan College, a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Western Michigan University, and a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University.For more information on Dr. Harris’s appointment, please visit the press release here.
