Provost The American University of Paris | Paris, France We are pleased to announce that Hannah Westley has been named as the next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. In this role, Westley will build on AUP’s strong reputation and work to promote excellence across teaching, learning, and research. She will work closely with the faculty, President, senior leadership, and Board of Trustees to provide visionary leadership, academic advice and guidance, forge external partnerships, support a distinguished faculty, and develop vibrant research centers. Westley currently serves as Interim Provost at AUP and steps into this role with ten years of deep institutional knowledge, having joined the Department of Communications, Media and Culture in 2014. Her research focuses on two areas of digital media – the online body and how online identity interacts with traditional self-representation, and the changing nature of news production, distribution, and individualized digital media consumption.
