Associate Executive Director and Chief of Medical Practice and Certification Innovation American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) | Dallas, Texas We are pleased to announce that Kenneth Kim, MD, MHPE, FACOG, FACS, has been named the Associate Executive Director and Chief of Medical Practice and Certification Innovation at the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, beginning September 30, 2024.Most recently, Kim was a Professor and the Board of Governors Endowed Chair in Gynecologic Oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He served as Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Fellowship Training Program Director, Director for Multispecialty Robotic Training and Education, and Chair of both the Robotic Steering Committee and the Committee for Advisement for Training and Education (COATE) at Cedars-Sinai Cancer Center. Kim earned his BA from Swarthmore College in 2001, his MD from the Medical College of Ohio in 2005, and completed his OB/GYN residency at The Ohio State University in 2009. He pursued a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. He earned a Master’s in Health Professions Education from the University of Cincinnati in 2018. Dr. Kim is active in numerous national and international roles, including serving on the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Scientific Program Chair for the 51st Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer and holding positions on various ACOG and CREOG committees.
