The successful Dean will bring a strategic approach to addressing a range of opportunities and challenges. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the vitality and long-term success of the College and engaging with the broader university community and beyond to advance an agenda of teaching, research, and service. The Dean works closely with department heads, faculty, and staff within the College and collaborates with fellow deans and other leaders throughout the institution. The Dean is the lead ambassador for engineering and information technology at the university and beyond and, as such, builds and leverages relationships with alumni, industry leaders, influential partners internally and externally, and stakeholders across the University, the region, and around the world.
