Quinnipiac University invites applications and nominations for dean of the School of Health Sciences (SHS). As part of its mission to be the “University of the Future,” Quinnipiac provides an enriching educational experience to over 6,400 undergraduate and 2,700 graduate and part-time students. The University prepares graduates for impactful careers and lifelong learning, emphasizing intellectual curiosity, integrity, and global engagement.

At Quinnipiac, the schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences come together on an integrated healthcare campus. This interprofessional environment fosters collaboration and innovation in patient-focused healthcare and features cutting-edge facilities, including advanced simulation labs accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH). The next dean will be a visionary leader capable of transforming healthcare and shaping its future by pioneering innovative education programs, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and driving impactful research. The dean will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of health sciences, healthcare, and workforce needs, along with a proven record of innovation in health sciences education and research. They will seek resources to support SHS’s goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality academic programs that meet accreditation standards and enrollment objectives. They will be an excellent relationship builder and clear communicator who nurtures a diverse, inclusive, and positive internal culture.
