Director of Grants and Contracts Accounting Medical University of South Carolina | Charleston, South Carolina The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a knowledgeable and proven leader to serve as their next Director of Grants and Contracts Accounting (Director). Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Grants & Contracts Accounting (GCA) will lead a professional staff in the post-award management of MUSC’s robust sponsored research portfolio valued in excess of $360 million dollars. The Director will also serve as a trusted collaborator for the MUSC community and use a proactive approach to developing and implementing processes and systems, diversifying resources, and building effective structures. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will bring a depth of knowledge and tested experience in managing research finance, as well as the capacity to lead and develop staff members while proactively seeking opportunities to increase staffing and resources.
