April Stevens | Deputy Director The Pine Street Inn, Deputy Director The Pine Street Inn selected April Stevens as the organization’s new Deputy Director. In this role, April will first focus on the program, housing and operational functions at the inn as well as working on some key external policy and funding issues. April started her career working with homeless people as the Shelter Director at Father Bill’s in Quincy. She then went on to become a Clinical Team Lead at Maine General Medical Center’s community-based Assertive Community Treatment Program. April came to Pine Street in 2003 as the Director of Substance Abuse Services, went on to run PSI’s Paul Sullivan Housing for 15 years, and then took on the role of Chief Operating Officer. April has a Master’s of Social Work Degree from Boston University. She completed the Bank of America Neighborhood Builders Leadership Program, received a certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from the University of Southern Florida, and completed Cornell University’s Financial Success for Nonprofits Certificate Program. April maintains her credential as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker (LICSW).Donna Cramer led this search with Nella Young and Ryan Smillie.
