Phillips Academy, Dean of Faculty

Phillips Academy has named Ben Temple as the next Dean of Faculty.

Ben is currently Head of the Upper School at Francis Parker School in San Diego. He has deep experience in both day and boarding independent schools. Over the past 23 years, Ben has served as a teacher, mentor, and leader at a wide array of institutions, including Tatnall School, Westtown School, the Global Online Academy, the Blake School, the Collegiate School, and Salisbury School.

Ben earned his Bachelor’s in history from Brown University and Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Klingenstein Center, Teachers College at Columbia University.
