KIPP Foundation, Chief Financial Officer

Leanne Hernandez named as the next Chief Financial Officer at the KIPP Foundation.

At KIPP, Hernandez will be responsible for all financial functions, including financial planning & analysis, the Controller, and grants management. Working closely with senior leadership, she will provide budgetary oversight and strategic partnership to foster KIPP’s vision of academic excellence, joy, and identity affirmation, while maintaining financial sustainability for all KIPP regions. 

Hernandez formerly served as the Chief Financial Officer at IDEA Public Schools and comes to KIPP with 13 years of finance experience, including ten years at IDEA’s charter school network. She holds an MA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from The University of Texas at Dallas.
